As school secretary for Anthony Wayne Jr. High my purpose is to serve and support students, staff and parents in facilitating communication and problem solving to enhance student learning. Some of my responsibilities include; managing student records, greeting office visitors, answering and directing telephone calls, preparing correspondence, newsletters, E-mails and processing invoices for payment.

I am the attendance secretary and I am responsible for daily attendance.  I also greet anyone who visits the office for any reason and answer the phone.  I am also responsible for all athletic forms.  I keep files on all athletes and make sure the proper paperwork is completed.  I assist the principal, assistant principal,  guidance counselors, nurse and teaching staff with daily tasks. I am also responsible for posting daily announcements to the webpage and making them available for the students.

I am one of the two counselors at the Junior High. I work with 7th grade students whose last names begin with P-Z and all of the 8th grade students. My primary role is to work cooperatively with parents, teachers, and administrators to meet the emotional/social, career, and academic needs of our students. I meet with students one-on-one, in small groups, and within the classroom. I also assist new students and their families, work with class scheduling, and aim to help students have a happy and successful year. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!

I provide counseling services for students in both 6th and 7th grade. At Fallen Timbers I work with the following teams: Four Square, Triple Alliance and The Blue Crew. At the Junior High I work with 7th graders whose last names begin with A-O. I work each day to provide my students with the social/emotional, academic,  and career skills they need to become successful citizens. I address these skills through classroom guidance lessons, small groups and one-on-one counseling sessions. I also work cooperatively with parents, teachers and administrators while addressing the individual needs of my students.

Juli Hetrick, JH Nurse

I am the Nurse at the Junior High.  Some of my responsibilities include administering medications, triaging student illness and injuries,  organizing student and/or staff wellness,  screening students for vision and hearing problems, and communicating with parents and staff regarding student health issues.  Please feel free to contact me at the Junior High if you have specific questions or concerns!!
