  • Mock Crash & Trial

With prom just days away, on Thursday, May 3rd, Anthony Wayne High School juniors and seniors were reminded about the serious consequences of  drinking and driving in a "Mock Crash" event complete with crashed vehicles, bloodied students, and parents stricken with grief.

Anthony Wayne High School partnered with A.W. area fire and rescue departments, along with AWAKE, to provide students with a Mock Crash simulation. The simulation not only included what happens at the scene of an accident but what happens after an accident.  Local professionals from all aspects of the community participated in this simulation that involved the "mock" fatality of a student.
