Requirements for Presenting your Lesson

Learn the correct way

to use your words

Use resources available in the classroom. (books, notes, internet etc.)
Prepare a lesson plan

Include:

Goals - What you excpet the students to know at the end of the lesson

Sequence -  List of activities and who will present them

Materials Needed - copies of worksheets/quizzes, overhead, projector

Create a worksheet

Approximately 15-20 questions to help the students learn to use the words correctly.

Typed and proof read.

Design a poster

Include:

words, definitions, examples

a way to remember the rules (pictures, sayings, jingles etc)

Your names on back of poster

Administer a quiz 5-8 questions.  Typed and proof read
Present your lesson

Presentation 15-20 minutes

5-8 minutes teaching  (show poster, explain topic, give examples)

5-8 minutes completing worksheet (work time, review answers)

3-5 minutes completing the quiz (collect and grade later)
