Julian Denker Wins Teen Essay Contest

Seventh grader, Julian Denker, is THE WINNER of the Toledo/Lucas County Public Library's teen essay contest about super powers! Students were asked to write about a super power that they'd like to possess. “The ability to make people happy in an instant would be my idea of the ideal super power,” was the thesis of this talented writer's essay. Later in her essay she writes, “Perhaps you didn't realize it, but you've had a super power lingering inside you your whole life!” Julian will receive $200 for her submission.

JH Students Participate in State FCCLA Competition

7th Graders Conor Segur & Adithya Ramaswami spent 3 days in Columbus with Ms. Schaller competing in the FCCLA State Competition 2012.  Both boys won gold medals and  qualified for National Competition this July in Orlando.
