WPA Sponsored Projects
Information on Events/Activities
Book Fairs – Scholastic books bring in books that are sold for discounted prices to parents, students, and school personnel.
Donuts for Dads – Fathers and their students get to share a donut and socialize before school.
(Mothers are encouraged to work this event.)
Secret Santa – Secret Santa is a gift shop where your student can pick out a gift for each family member for less than $3.
COSI on Wheels – Your student gets to experience what COSI is all about by bringing in carts that are full of fun.
Muffins for Moms – Mothers and their students get to share a muffin and socialize before school.
(Fathers are encouraged to work at this event.)
Market Day – Monthly you can purchase food from a company called Market Day. A form will come home with your student. A percentage of the sales are given to the school for each item you buy. The food is delicious and easy to prepare. Come to pick up night and you can try a sample. You have the online order option.
Movie Night – We hold five-six Movie Nights in a school year. We play a movie that will be announced on the sign up sheets. You will have the opportunity to send your child for a fun night of movie and a snack.
Publishing Center – Students can create a book and have it assembled at the publishing center. Volunteers of the Publishing Center will talk with each child and help them (by typing) put their creations together.
Spring Carnival- Held in the month of April or May. This year we hope to have the carnival on the last day or so of school in combination with track and field day.
